Valuing companionship and support from those we are close to is a common trait for many people – especially as we work toward a chosen desire. In the workplace, it is common for businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit agencies to have employees form teams to meet organizational goals and to navigate the increasingly complex work world. Over the last forty years, we at California Coast University recognize this important need and have seen the benefit our new and continuing students receive from “buddying up” with a friend, family member, or co-worker to meet their educational goals.
